Happy Monday!!
I am happy to start off your week with lots of bright colors from Sew Caroline’s Chalk and Paint Fabric Collection.
I hope you had a chance to see The Tattooed Quilter blog post yesterday??!! If not you must check it out and also stop by Hey June Handmade blog tomorrow!
Sew Caroline has 3 lines with Art Gallery Fabrics and is well know for her bright, cheerful color palette and Chalk and Paint is no exception. I have been waiting on pins and needles (get it?!!) for this line since Fall Quilt Market. I love the bright colors and large scale floral prints along side bold graphic prints.
The above prints are:
Short Lines Mist and Evenly Smudged Joy
The print below are:
Short Lines Mist and Triangle Brush Tempera
We had a chance to go to QuiltCon last weekend so I decided to bring Miss. T with me so she could see the what the world of sewing is all about. She wore this and Oh-Man was it a hit! People were asking where they can get the Fabric and Skirt!
I used Violette Field Threads Allie Top Pattern with the Lavinia Reversible Skirt Pattern.
I also had the honor of making two dresses for Chalk and Paint Lookbook…
The dress above was is a new pattern coming soon by Violette Field Threads called Madison!
I made Madison with the following fabrics:
Dripping Paint Warming
Short Lines Mist
Sprayed Blooms Bright
Aerosol Stipple Blush
Short Lines Burst
